Change in graduation dates for the class of 2027

Battle Ground Public Schools

October 28, 2026

We want to share an important update to this year's graduation ceremonies.

Because of a planning error in the 2026-27 school year calendar, we must change most of the previously announced graduation dates for the class of 2027. This change will ensure that this year’s graduating seniors receive the amount of learning time required by state law (RCW 28A.150.220).

Updated graduation dates and locations

All graduations will begin at 7 p.m.

  • River HomeLink: June 2 in the Prairie High School auditorium

  • Summit View High School: June 3 in the Prairie High School auditorium

  • Battle Ground Virtual Academy: June 4 in the Prairie High School auditorium

  • CAM Academy (ceremony date and location not changed): June 8 in the Prairie High School auditorium

  • Battle Ground High School: June 9 at District Stadium (weather permitting)

    • Finals will be June 7 (periods 4, 5, 6) and June 8 (periods 1, 2, 3)

    • Last high school senior attendance day: June 8

    • Graduation practice June 9

  • Prairie High School: June 10 at District Stadium (weather permitting)

    • Finals will be June 7 (periods 4, 5, 6) and June 8 (periods 1, 2, 3)

    • Last high school senior attendance day: June 8

    • Graduation practice June 10

In the event of inclement weather, Battle Ground and Prairie's graduations will be held in Battle Ground High School’s main gym.

See the updated district calendar.

Graduation is a special milestone for students and families, who plan ahead for this important celebration. We apologize for the disruption caused by these changes.

We look forward to celebrating our graduates and all they have accomplished!
