Your child’s online safety

Protecting your child's digital well-being

As devices play an increasing role in children’s education, appropriate safeguards are critical. Your child already benefits from internet filtering technology that blocks inappropriate web content on all school-issued devices.

Now, we are going one step further and granting every Battle Ground parent/guardian a free Qustodio parental app account. Qustodio will give you important insights into your child’s online activity on their school-issued device and provide you with features for managing their online activity at home. Qustodio has replaced GoGuardian for monitoring school-issued technology.

Helpful features for parents and guardians

  • Pause the internet to manage your child’s screen time (Note: BGPS has implemented screen time restrictions during some hours for primary and middle school students)

  • See your child’s online activity on school-issued devices

  • Filter and block certain content

  • Get reports and alerts for inappropriate content

Multi-parent access is available, and Qustodio works on several different types of devices.

How to activate your free account

  1. Visit qustodio.com/my-school.

  2. Create your account using the same email address that we have on file for you in Skyward. Not sure what email address this is? Please reach out to your child's school.

  3. Connect with your child’s school account.
