Learn about upcoming changes in student technology:
In Battle Ground Public Schools, high school students and students at some alternative learning schools are assigned a Chromebook to use during the school day and at home. Students will be responsible for their device just as they would be for a textbook.
Expectations
Students are expected to use district technology responsibly, and they must understand the appropriate and responsible use of the technology and district network resources as described in procedure 2022. The district also expects that students will charge their devices every night and keep their devices safe, secure and in good working order.
Optional assurance program
The optional Chromebook assurance fee lessens the financial burden on families in the event of an accident. Families may opt out of the Chromebook assurance program, but will be fully responsible for any cost associated with damage. Refunds are not available. Assurance plans are available for families of students at the following schools:
Prairie High School
Battle Ground High School
Summit View High School
Battle Ground Virtual Academy
