Sex trafficking prevention

Select high school PE 2 courses* will include sex trafficking prevention lessons in spring 2026. The lessons are designed to help students understand the warning signs and risk factors of sex trafficking, as well as learn safety strategies.

Notification will be sent to parents and guardians of students in these classes so that they may review the curriculum and decide whether they want their high schooler to participate.

*High school PE 2 courses: Athletic Performance Training II, Basketball Skills and Competition, Body Wise, Dance, Physical Education II, Soccer Speed Strength Training, Speed and Strength Training, Strength Training, Total Body Fitness / Total Fitness, Unified Physical Education, Zero Period Strength Training, AFJROTC The Science of Flight
