New business:
The board voted unanimously to approve the following items.
Contract with Union Corner Construction for the construction trades building. The work will be paid for through the 2024 capital levy approved by voters.
Rejection of bids for the public safety distributed antenna system at the Pleasant Valley and Tukes Valley campuses and authorization of a new bidding process for the Tukes valley campus. The Pleasant Valley campus now meets the compliance standard and no longer requires improvements. The work will be funded through a state grant.
Purchase of wireless equipment to improve reliability, speed and security. This purchase will be paid for through the 2024 capital levy approved by voters.
