Prairie High School's Health Occupation Students of America have set a new club record. The club, which is the school's largest, is holding its annual drive to collect donations of menstrual products. With a large boost from the Walter E. Nelson Co., the club has already reached almost double its goal, bringing in 3,900 items to date. The items will be available throughout Prairie and at other schools, as well as available for students to take home during the summer. Students planned and organized the drive, which continues through April 23. Mo Levine and Rachel Reid are the advisers. HOSA operates through the health science pathway, part of the Career and Technical Education options in the district.
