Thank you to Read Northwest and Battle Ground Education Foundation for organizing and hosting Bites & Books, a celebration of literacy.
On March 12, parents and guardians joined their first graders at every BGPS primary school for breakfast and reading activities. Students took home free books, bookmarks and other items to keep the love of reading going.
Battle Ground Chief of Police Dennis Flynn also joined the fun and transported the shark mascot from school to school to spread excitement.
We love seeing these meaningful connections across our community!
