Battle Ground Public Schools -

The special meeting/work session began at 4 p.m. and included a discussion of how levy funding impacts basic education programs.

The regular meeting began at 6 p.m. and included:

• Agenda approval

• Student voice from Tukes Valley Middle School, CAM Academy and Prairie High School

• Employee Recognition Awards for October 2025

• Committee and board director reports

• Superintendent and staff updates

• Citizens’ comments

• Approval of the consent agenda

• Old business: The board approved a revision of policy 3241 regarding student discipline

• New business: The board voted to approve the following:

  • Collective bargaining agreement between Public School Employees of Battle Ground and Battle Ground Public Schools

  • Revision of policy 5011 prohibiting sexual harassment of district staff

  • Revision of policy 1111 regarding the oath of office

  • Revision of policy 1210 regarding the annual organizational meeting

  • First reading of new policy 1821 regarding the standards of individual board directors

• Future agenda items and board events
