New business: The board voted to approve the following:
Resolution G-25 providing for certain employees to contract on behalf of BGPS based on administrative personnel changes
Resolution H-25 regarding a temporary increase to the business services revolving fund imprest checking account
Request for proposal for a public safety distributed antenna system. The district will be receiving state funding to install distributed antenna systems on the Tukes Valley and Pleasant Valley campuses. These upgrades will help ensure reliable radio and communication coverage for first responders inside school buildings. Other schools previously received antenna system upgrades through a federal grant in 2024.
Approval of civil engineering contract for the new site of the Futures program. The program will be moving from the Dodge House to a new home on the Battle Ground High School campus. The project will be funded through impact fees.
Approval of new Instructional Materials Committee members Jessica Drake, Maple Grove Primary, and Charb Gourde, Prairie High School
First reading of the proposed adoption of high school social and emotional learning curriculum
