Congratulations to Lori Benson! Benson, a paraeducator at Daybreak Primary School, was recently named the 2024 Education Support Professional of the Year by the Public School Employees of Washington.
This coveted award is granted to a PSE-represented employee who has demonstrated a commitment to education. The individual must be an active member in good standing with their local PSE chapter for at least three years. They also should have positive relationships with other staff members, the district and PSE.
Benson says that being with students is the best part of her day. Daybreak and Battle Ground Public Schools are grateful for her ongoing dedication.
