Students from Summit View, Prairie and Battle Ground high schools recently received awards from Cascadia Tech Academy. Congratulations to the following:

Distinguished Graduates
Distinguished Graduate Awards are earned by the student in each program area who exemplifies the technical, academic and professionalism skills at the highest level. Recipients represent the most accomplished students from Cascadia Tech Academy. Students were either nominated by their instructor or by the program’s advisory committee.

Dennis Kampe scholarship recipients
The Dennis Kampe scholarship is given to outstanding seniors who exemplify the best of their program area and have post-secondary plans in their field of study. Recipients are initially interviewed and selected by each program’s advisory committee. Scholarships can be used to purchase tools, pay for books or tuition to support students as they head to colleges, universities or technical schools or enter apprenticeship programs.

Cascadia Technical Academy is a cooperative career and technical learning experience created in partnership with 10 school districts in Southwest Washington, including Battle Ground. High school juniors and seniors may apply to one of Cascadia Tech’s 20 different hands-on programs and earn high school and college credits.
