The Battle Ground High School cheer team recently returned from the National Cheer Competition in California. Competing against talented teams from across the country, the Tiger squad earned ninth place in Varsity Show Cheer Intermediate Non-Tumbling Small and 10th place in Crowdleader Team Medium. Underscoring their success at nationals is the fact that is the first year that Battle Ground's cheer team has qualified for the national competition.
The team thanks their families, friends, school and the entire Battle Ground community for their encouragement and support.
