Want to volunteer for our Scholastic Book Fair at Daybreak Schools (DBM & DBP) next month in March? We would love to have your help! The book fair will run March 18th through March 22nd (including 2 Spring conference days).(1) Please complete the volunteer google form if you are interested: https://forms.gle/YLmtwhVSLWruVjhd9 You can sign up for 1st-3rd choice shifts that work for you. There is also a question to let us know your availability for more shifts if we have gaps in our schedule.
All volunteers need to (2) complete the BGPS ONLINE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

Your identification must be turned in BEFORE your application can be processed. Once all documents are turned in, it takes 7-10 business days for clearance. Your application is valid for 2 years. Deadline is Thursday, February 29th.
Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Set up fair: Friday, March 15th @ 1:15-3:00pm (help unpacking and displaying books and book fair merchandise)
- Work the fair (cashier, help students with counting their change & locating books, straightening book fair items, etc.)
- Monday 3/18 and Tuesday 3/19 shifts @ 8:30-11:00am, 11:00-1:30pm, and 1:30-4:00pm
- Wednesday 3/20, Thursday 3/21 & Friday 3/22 shifts @ 8:30-11:30am and 11:30-2:30pm (closing early after Thursday conference day and closing early Friday to pack up).
- Tear down fair: Friday, March 22nd @ 2:20-4:00pm
Depending on shifts volunteers sign up for, we may need to move people around to fill gaps. We will call or email to confirm shifts a week prior to the fair. Please email or call us if you need to know earlier, in order to request time off work.
