It’s Food Drive time @ Daybreak Middle School! November 14-18th

Daybreak ASB and Leadership classes will be collecting food donations to support our community. All collected food will be donated to the Clark County Food Bank.

The grade level that collects the most food will receive a free choice period and a visit from the Kona Ice truck.

Collection bins will be placed in each grade level’s wing. Every food item (can/box/package/etc.) collected will earn 1 point.

Each day, certain items will also receive bonus points!

Monday: Pasta – boxed or dry (Macaroni, Spaghetti, etc.) – 2x Bonus Points!
Tuesday: – Peanut Butter 2x Bonus Points!
Wednesday: Beans – canned or dried – 2x Bonus Points!
Thursday: Canned Meats (Chicken, Tuna, etc.) – 3x Bonus Points!
Friday: Canned Fruits and Vegetables – 5x Bonus Points!

Each afternoon, Daybreak Leadership students will tally up the day’s collection and release results, so you’ll know who’s in the lead. The Food Drive ends Friday, November 19th.

In addition to non-perishable food items, the Clark County Food Bank also accepts the following non-food items, which will also earn DOUBLE POINTS! New, unopened items only, please!
